Celebrate World Honey Bee Day with us and learn all about the fascinating history of bees.

Children will hear from local beekeeper, Phelim Breen about the importance of bees and why we need to care for them.

Following this, they will take a journey back in time to the first beekeepers in Ireland, the monks, with author Marianne McShane telling her story of Ronan and the Mermaid.

Children will also create a bee-autiful craft to take home.

This is a drop-off event. Registration forms will be emailed to parents and must be completed and returned prior to the event.

Children should bring a water bottle and snack
